Five children are in government custody after their dad was arrested and accused of beating them with a machete.
Miky Sinaise, 29, is charged with aggravated child abuse and neglect after the children were found with bruises on their backs and chests, according to the Department of Children and Families.
The alleged abuse was discovered after a DCF worker showed up to Sinaise's West Palm Beach home for a routine visit. When asked about the bruises, one of the kids told the inspector that they were beat with a machete.
The children range from 8-months old to 8 years old, but the infant was not harmed, officials said.
None of the children's injuries are considered life threatening, but they were taken to the hospital for evaluation.
