Machete-Wielding Brothers Held Without Bond After Home-Invasion, Rape

The brothers are charged with armed robbery, armed burglary, possession of a weapon by a felon and sexual battery.

Two Kissimme brothers are being held without bond after deputies say they raped a woman in a home-invasion robbery that involved guns and a machete.

Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office said Richard Delgado Cruz, 33, and Danny Delgado Cruz, 29, entered a Poinciana home, raped a woman while her family was forced to watch, then used bleach on her body to destroy the evidence, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The brothers reportedly forced their way into the home, wearing masks and carrying machetes and guns, and demanded money and jewelry. When the family denied having any valuables, they tied up some of the family members and took turns raping a woman, according to the report.
