A 26-year-old man was arrested for sexual battery on an 8-year-old girl, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
Guidner Jean of Coral Springs, faces charges including sexual battery by someone over 18 years old on a victim less than 12 years old. He was being held without bond on Tuesday.
The child told authorities that he molested her on Feb. 8, according to the complaint affidavit.
Jean agreed to provide a statement to authorities and was taken into custody, authorities said. He also voluntarily waived his Miranda Rights and agreed to give a statement, the affidavit said.
It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.
