Man Arrested for Allegedly Robbing 2 Coral Springs Banks: FBI

The FBI has arrested a man for his alleged involvement in two bank robberies last week in Coral Springs.

Daniel Michael, 41, was arrested without incident by the FBI in Margate.

Michael has been placed in federal custody at the Broward County jail and is facing federal charges. His initial appearance will be in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court on Wednesday.

The first robbery happened on Oct. 1 at a BB&T Bank branch on North University Drive, and the second happened the next day at the TD Bank branch on North State Road 7.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

The amount of money stolen has not been disclosed.
