Man Arrested for Fatal Stabbing Along Fort Lauderdale Street

A Plantation man found himself behind bars after allegedly walking to a man this week and stabbing him to death before causally walking away from the scene.

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that 55-year-old Tommie Lee Johnson was arrested for the Tuesday evening incident along the 200 block of South Andrews Avenue.

Witnesses say they saw Johnson approach the victim and commit the act before walking away. He was arrested a short distance later with police saying they found a bloody knife on the waistband of his pants and blood stains on his clothes as well.

The victim, Tyrone Feltcher, was rushed to the hospital and later died.

Johnson was taken to the hospital before being booked into jail. He is being held with no bond on a murder charge.
