A man was arrested for fondling a teenage girl during an armed home invasion in Miami, authorities said.
Carlos Caballero, 47, remained in jail Monday after being arrested on Saturday. He faces charges including armed burglary with an assault therein, lewd and lascivious molestation and false imprisonment. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.
On May 11, he got into the home through a sliding glass door, and he was armed and wearing a mask and gloves, authorities said.
He went into the father's bedroom and pointed the gun at him, telling him to lay face down on the bed, authorities asid. He tied him up and covered his face, authorities said.
Caballero then ransacked the apartment and entered a bedroom of two juveniles, a brother and a sister, authorities said.
As he tried to tie the brother up, the sister tried to use her cell phone, but he took the phone and began to fondle her over her clothing, authorities said.
The father freed himself and confronted Caballero, who fled the house.
