Police arrested a man accused of killing two people and injuring another in North Miami.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday, April 12th on the 12000 block of NW 8 Avenue. That's when North Miami Police said a gunman opened fire on three people.
Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police said the surviving victim identified 23-year-old Aren Evans Lenton as the shooter. Authorities arrested Lenton on Friday, charging him with two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
It is unclear whether Lenton has an attorney.
