Man Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge Told Officers He Could Touch His Wife Any Way He Wanted To: Cops

Henry Ramos, 46, was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic violence assault and resisting arrest.

A Hollywood man was arrested on a domestic violence charge after officers say he told them he could touch his wife any way he wanted to, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

Henry Ramos, 46, reportedly asked officers, "What? You never put your hands on a woman?" I can touch my wife anyway I want to."

Ramos was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic violence assault and resisting arrest, the newspaper said. He was released from jail on $6,750 bond, according to online records.

Officer John Lorenzo responded to an apartment on the 4900 block of Hollywood Blvd. after Ramos' wife called police to say her husband came home drunk, grabbed her face with his hands and threatened to hurt her, according to an arrest report.

Lorenzo said he heard yelling coming from the couple's apartment, and then heard Ramos repeatedly say," get the (expletive) out of here."

No Charges Filed Against Husband of Mother Found Killed With Daughters

When the officer entered the home, Ramos was sitting at a table drinking a beer, the report said.

Hollywood Police then tackled the man after he allegedly walked toward them with a clenched fist. They also struck him on his legs after he resisted being placed into a police car, the report said.
