A Lake Worth man was arrested after authorities said he called 911 more than 15 times when a convenience store clerk refused to sell him beer, the Palm Beach Post reported.

Johnny Ramos, 41, was arrested Monday and faces charges including misuse of 911 and disorderly intoxication, according to the newspaper. He was released from Palm Beach County Jail on his own recognizance.

Police said Ramos went to Cumberland Farms at 10:30 a.m. Monday to buy beer. A female attendant said she refused to sell him the alcohol because he was intoxicated, which caused him to call 911 more than 15 times, an arrest report said.

Dispatchers said Ramos spoke incoherently and told them he would continue to call and didn’t care if he was arrested.

Authorities said the 41-year-old also called 911 more than 20 times Sunday, according to the Post.
