A 17-year-old boy is on the run after police say he choked a pregnant woman and then injured her two dogs, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Daytona Beach Police are now looking for Jarred Scott Poole, who is wanted on charges including aggravated battery on a pregnant woman and felony cruelty to animals, the newspaper reported.
On Sunday, Poole was arguing with Jasmine Avance, who is pregnant and engaged to Poole’s brother, when he “drop-kicked” Avance’s Chihuahua puppy into the street. He proceeded to throw her pit bull into the road after Avance had retrieved her Chihuahua, the newspaper said.

After the six-months pregnant woman yelled at him for his actions, Poole threw the puppy onto the street’s median. The pit bull, who followed the Chihuahua into the road, was hit by a truck and then ran away.
That's when Poole grabbed Avance’s arm, pushed her against the home and choked her, a report said.
The Chihuahua was later euthanized at an emergency animal hospital.
