A man is dead after he lost control of his bike and was struck by a Miami-Dade bus, according to Hialeah Police.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on West 49th Street and 10th Avenue.
Witnesses said the man, who has not yet been identified, slipped on the road and got in the way of the bus, police said.
The man's face was severely damaged, so medical examiners are waiting to identify the victim through his fingerprints.
Police said the bus driver became ill following the accident and had to be treated at the scene.
