Man Faces Federal Charges in Miami Store Robbery

A Florida man faces federal charges in a robbery at a Miami mini mart shop.

The FBI announced Thursday that 32-year-old Antron Latroy Langston of Miami was indicted by a federal grand jury under the Hobbs Act, which allows prosecutors to prosecute violent habitual criminals who commit armed robbery involved in interstate commerce. Agents arrested Langston at a residence on Wednesday in Conyers, Georgia.

Langston is accused of robbing a One Stop Mini Mart in Miami on May 3. During the robbery, Langston and Dalton Armster confronted the store clerk and forcibly took money from the register while pointing a firearm at the store clerk.

Armster was later arrested in Naples, Florida.
