Hart had been wanted in the stabbing and detectives developed leads early Thursday that led them to several locations, the BSO said.

When they arrived at 1701 Northwest 15th Place around 1 a.m., a woman answered the door and tried to stall detectives, the BSO said.

Hart tried to leave out the back door but was caught with the help of a police dog, the BSO said.

He was booked into jail on charges of second-degree murder and resisting arrest with violence and was being held without bond. It was unknown whether he has an attorney.
