Man Stabbed Another With Ice Pick Over Fishing Spot Spat: Cops

David Christner, 58, began fighting with another man who parked his car near his fishing spot, police said.

A Florida man fighting to keep his fishing spot was arrested after stabbing another man with an ice pick, authorities said.

David Christner, 58, started fighting with another man who had parked his car near his fishing spot Saturday night, Sarasota Police said.

The two were hitting each other when Christner grabbed the ice pick weapon and stabbed the man twice, police said.

Responders found the victim lying on Siesta Bridge, and he was airlifted to Blake Medical Center to treat his injuries, according to police.

Christner was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was being held without bond Tuesday and it wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney.
