A man was found shot to death Monday after a pair of shootings in the same neighborhood in northwest Miami-Dade.
The man's body was found in the area of 155th Street and Northwest 2nd Avenue. Police haven't identified the man or given any other information.
Witnesses said they heard gunshots around 11:30 p.m. Sunday and again at 2:30 a.m. Monday. Officers arrived and found the man's body near three bullet-riddled cars.
Resident Erika Dabl said she heard both shootings.
"I heard gunshots like pop, pop, 6 or 7 gunshots," Dabl said. "Around 2, I heard another shot, boom, boom, boom and that really woke me up."
"I heard 30 shots, grabbed the kids, we hit the floor," witness Nathan Jones said. "It is crazy."
Police were seen taking away one of the cars, a Mercury Sable. They were also reviewing surveillance footage from the scene.
