Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death in Miami early Tuesday.
Officers responded to the area of Northwest 18th Avenue and 53rd Street around 12:13 a.m. after multiple gunshots were heard.
Once there, the officers found 25-year-old Enrique Fikes on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
Miami Fire Rescue responded and pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses said they heard a fight and heard gunshots and saw the body of Fikes, who was dressed as a woman.
"A brief altercation then it was quiet then 'bang, bang, bang,'" Chris Clark said.
Police didn't give any information about any possible suspects and the shooting remains under investigation.
