A man was arrested for taking photos or video under women's skirts at Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th at the Sawgrass Mills mall, The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

Mel Ortiz was arrested Thursday after employees of the store saw him and called authorities, Judge John Hurley said in court from the police report.

Ortiz was held on $2,500 bond and had an immigration hold on him. He faces charges including voyeurism and giving false identification to law enforcement.

He had a Spanish translator in court and said he was unemployed but had been living in South Florida for six years.
