Officials are investigating a hit and run crash early Monday morning in Northwest Miami-Dade that sent one man to the hospital.
Police say the victim was riding a scooter near the intersection of NW 10th avenue and 29th Street in the Allapattah neighborhood when he was hit by the car, which later took off from the scene.
The victim was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center, where his condition is unknown. The intersection remains closed as police investigate and look for the car involved, which they have not released additional information about.
