Deputies say a man was injured when he fired a shotgun into the air while arguing with his girlfriend in Pasco County.
A Pasco County Sheriff's news release says 21-year-old Michael Stroehlein-Toro sustained a neck wound after firing the shot on Wednesday night.
Investigators say they are still attempting to determine what caused the wound since the victim is being uncooperative.
Stroehlein-Toro was alert and talking when he was taken to the hospital. An updated condition report wasn't immediately available.
The case is under investigation but authorities say there was no indication of foul play or suicide attempt.
