A Lauderhill man was arrested at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino after police say he nearly bit off his wife’s earlobe after her birthday celebration.
Kevon Stewart, 25, was arrested early Sunday morning for domestic battery, according to the Seminole Police Department. He was held in jail on $12,500 bond.

Gary Bitner of the Seminole Police Department told NBC 6 South Florida that Stewart was celebrating the 29th birthday of his wife, Nadine Bruce, before the fight began.
A security officer who saw the two arguing in a parked car told them to leave. Stewart then put Bruce in a headlock, and when he let her go, her earlobe was “hanging down,” an arrest form said.
Bruce was transported to Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines.

Bitner said Stewart admitted to biting his wife's ear in a statement to police.
It wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney.
