Police are looking for a man who was caught on video robbing a Miami Springs Subway restaurant at gunpoint.

The robbery happened Wednesday night at the restaurant at 4889 Northwest 36th Street, Miami Springs Police said.

The suspect walked into the store, pointed a pistol at the employees and demanded cash, police said.

After the money was handed over, the man tried to run out the back door but it was locked, so he left out the front, police said. No one was injured.

Police described the suspect as a black male in his mid 20s, about 5-foot-7 with a medium build. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
