Man Robs Metro PCS Store in 18 Seconds: Deputies

The suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded the money, once he got it, he took off, authorities said

Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Pompano Beach Metro PCS store in in 18 seconds.

On Feb. 1, a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans ran into the store, located at 317 E. Copans Rd. He ran to the counter and "give me all the (expletive) money." the Broward Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

"The clerk laughed at the scruffy-faced subject, who then pulled out a sliver handgun, pointed it at the clerk and reiterated his profane demand," the sheriff's office said.

The clerk gave the money and the man left.

Anyone with information about this suspect should call Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-TIPS (8477). A cash reward of up to $1,000 can be paid to people who call Crime Stoppers with information leading to an arrest.
