A man was hospitalized after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver in northwest Miami-Dade Thursday night, police said.
David Eugene, 60, was crossing the street at Northwest 178th Terrace and 49th Avenue around 8:20 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle, Miami-Dade Police said.
He was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where he was in stable condition, police said.
Police said there were no witnesses and no vehicle information. The incident remains under investigation.
