Police are looking for a man who they say sexually assaulted an underage girl at his Coral Gables home.
An arrest warrant was issued for 32-year-old Jose Guillermo De Angulo for unlawful sexual activity with a minor, Coral Gables Police said Tuesday.
According to police, De Angulo made contact with the girl on Instagram and lured her to his home on July 25, where the assault took place.
"The predator tries to gain their trust, will tell them anything, lie to them, do whatever to try to get that meeting, and it destroys that child, cause she still is a child," Coral Gables Police spokeswoman Kelly Denham said. "But we're hoping along with counseling and with the arrest that she can recover from this, which we're hoping for."
