Man in Hospital After Police-Involved Shooting in Miami

One man was rushed to the hospital this morning after an officer-involved shooting in Northwest Miami-Dade.

The man was shot after a police pursuit ended near NW 17th Ave. and 100 St., sources said. Miami-Dade, and North Miami Beach police responded to the scene along with members of the Florida Highway Patrol.

The man shot was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial. His condition is unknown.

Authorities haven't said whether the man shot was a suspect or whether he was shot by police or someone else.
