Authorities are investigating after a man's body was found floating in a canal in Pompano Beach Monday morning.
The discovery was made in a canal along Southwest 2nd Street. Broward Sheriff's Office officials said their dive team responded around 9:20 a.m. after receiving a report of a man going into the canal and not coming out.
Divers later found the man's body. His identity wasn't released.
Crime scene and homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate the man's death, BSO officials said.
