A 44-year-old husband and father of four was fatally shot early Friday in Allapattah, neighbors and Miami Fire Rescue confirm.
Friends and neighbors have identified the victim as Aaron Parrish. According to MFR, they were called to an apartment building in the 2000 block of Northwest 31st Street around 1 a.m. after neighbors reported hearing multiple shots.
A neighbor told NBC 6 that he walked outside and saw Parrish lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. The neighbor says Parrish live in an apartment with his wife and four children.
MFR pronounced Parrish dead on the scene.
An investigation into his death is ongoing. A suspect has not been identified. Anyone with information is asked to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for Parrish's family to help with funeral costs and to support his children.
