Miami Beach Police are looking for 18-year-old Pedro Exposito, who they said gunned down Robert Lakatos during an attempted robbery.

Exposito, who police said should be considered armed and dangerous, was seen in Citrus and Marion counties and may be going by the name “Mike.” He is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. The 18-year-old also has a tattoo on the inside of his right arm that reads “Maria Perez.”

Lakatos was murdered April 6 on the boardwalk near 79th Street, police said. He had just moved to the area from Virginia and wanted to become a model.

Anyone with information on Exposito’s whereabouts is asked to call the Miami Beach Homicide Unit at 305-673-7870.
