A Miami Beach tattoo artist is accused of molesting a 14-year-old victim and having inappropriate conversations with the teen on Facebook, police said.
Marc Anthony Dochterman, 39, was arrested Monday on charges including lewd and lascivious molestation of a child and luring or enticing a child. He was being held on $13,500 bond Tuesday, jail records showed.
During his bond court appearance Tuesday morning, Dochterman was appointed a public defender.
According to an arrest report, Dochterman, who works at Redemption Tattoo Parlor on Washington Avenue, was reported to police after the victim's parents learned of Facebook content with "possible sexual conduct and inappropriate communications" between Dochterman and the victim.
An investigation revealed Dochterman tried to lure the victim to dinner and movies through Facebook, the report said. The teen also told police that they kissed and that Dochterman straddled the victim, the report said.
When Dochterman was interviewed, he told police he knew the victim was 14 at the time of the alleged acts, the report said.
