Miami Couple Always Sees Double

The Hinrichsens have run out of arms to carry all their sets of twins with the latest additions.

We've all bought duplicates for a rainy day, but a Miami couple has a knack for birthing them.

Kathleen and Nick Hinrichsen have achieved the rare feat of having three sets of twins, the most recent pair born earlier this week.

"It is really uncommon," said Kathleen. "When we found out we were having another set of twins it was a little surprising to us too."

It's like having the Doublemint twins at the breakfast table, and in the living room, and in the nursery -- all at the same time. The couple also have pairs of 7-year-old and 2-year-old boys. This time they mixed a girl in the equation, Summer Grace, who shared the womb with her brother, Dylan Riley.

"We are really excited to have a girl this time," Kathleen said. Of course, Nick had a different take. "I was terrified," he said.

Just imagine the hell a babysitter or teachers might have to go through when these kids come of age.

The Learning Channel will feature the Hinrichsens in the channel's "A Baby Story" documentary series, although we suggest making the title plural just to be more accurate in this case.

The Hinrichsens are one more set away from that magic reality TV number of eight, but don't expect the couple to shoot to become the Miami version of Jon and Kate.

"We're done," Nick said. For this couple, six is enough.
