- Crews from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helped save a kitten that was trapped inside a car engine at a Miami Beach gas station.
Members of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue were the heroes for one cat on Miami Beach in the morning hours of Friday.
A call came into 911 shortly before 9 AM that the animal was trapped inside a car engine located at the Marathon Gas Station at 790 N. Miami Beach Blvd.
MDFR was able to free the cat from the vehicle. The animal belong to the car owner’s neighbor and was safely returned.
