Miami Heat Finalizing Trade of Chalmers to Memphis: Reports

The Miami Heat are finalizing a deal to trade guard Mario Chalmers to the Memphis Grizzlies in a four-player deal, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Miami reportedly stands to save $6 million in luxury tax payments on the deal.

Yahoo reports that Chalmers, along with small forward James Ennis, will head to Memphis in exchange for Beno Udrih, Jarnell Stokes and a second-round pick.

Yahoo NBA columnist Adrian Wojnarowski Tweeted the news Tuesday afternoon.

Chalmers, in the final year of his contract with the Heat, was the starting point guard for the team's back-to-back Championships in 2012 and 2013.

This is a developing story and will be updated as new information becomes available.
