Miami International Airport's Lost and Found To Be Auctioned Saturday

Auction begins at 9:30 a.m.

Looking for some hidden treasure? You just might find it Saturday at Miami International Airport’s lost and found auction, where travelers’ misplaced goods will be sold to the highest bidder.

Laptops, digital cameras, iPods and even jewelry promise to be some of the most eye-catching items that will be going up for bargain prices. But hundreds of items that have been MIA at MIA for more than 60 days will be for sale in all.

That includes unopened suitcases and everything in them.

The auction is Saturday morning at 5600 NW 36th St. (Building 845), on the third floor, near the intersection with NW 54th Avenue. Admission is $3 and children under 12 are free.

Those looking to buy can check out the items, excluding the luggage, from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
The auction begins at 9:30, and sales are cash only.
