Miami Mother of 4 Gunned Down, Police Searching for SUV Involved in Shooting

Miami police are searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a late-night shooting that claimed the life of a mother of four.

Victoria D. Tutson, 30, was hit by bullets multiple times during a shooting involving two vehicles on Sept. 26. She was inside one of the vehicles struck by gunfire, police said. The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on Northwest 65th Street and 17th Avenue.

The vehicle Tutson was traveling in drove the mother to North Shore Medical Center where she later died.

“My daughter was a loving person. It’s so sad," Clarence Tutson, Victoria's father, said. "She has four kids that will be raised without a mother ... words can’t describe what kind of person she was..”

Surveillance footage from the day of the shooting shows a silver SUV police say was involved in the shooting. They are asking for the public's help in finding the SUV and its owner.

”All we know is she was going about her day and she was killed," Miami detective Rich Graham said.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
