The Magic City has officially gone to Crapp, Tony Crapp Jr. that is.
The former Deputy City manager and the mayor's chief of staff received a promotion Thursday and will now lead the cash-strapped city in the face of some troubling times.
Crapp is taking over for Carlos Migoya, who took the job for free in February essentially as a favor to then newly elected mayor, Tomas Regalado.
Since then, the city has taken drastic measures just to stay afloat, including laying off employees, slashing salaries and angering unions to the point of nearing civil war.
And Crapp may be stepping into a little, well, you-know-what, as he might be called on to fire Police Chief Miguel Exposito, who has had a falling out of sorts with Regalado over recent police shootings and scandals.
