A state corrections officer was found dead inside her Miami home early Tuesday, the victim of an apparent stabbing, according to police.
The body of the unidentified 36-year-old was found by a family member in an alleyway next to her home on Northwest 18th St. near 1st Court in Overtown, Miami Police said.
Detectives were still investigating at the scene late Tuesday morning, interviewing the woman's husband and son, who were home at the time.
No other information was immediately available.
