Miami Police gave the all clear after investigating a suspicious package found several blocks away from the Richard Gerstein Justice Building early Tuesday morning.
A bomb squad responded to the scene near Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 12th Street shortly after 8 a.m.
The suspicious package was investigated and the area was deemed safe.
Officials have not released any additional details about the item in question.
Northwest 12th Avenue had been closed between 11th and 14th Streets as the westbound exit ramp from the Dolphin Expressway has also been shut down. The streets were reopened shortly before 10 a.m.
