A Miami violin instructor accused of sexually battering one of his 14-year-old students has been arrested, police said.
Joseph Michel, 57, was arrested Thursday on a charge of sexual battery on a minor by an adult, according to an arrest report.
The report said the incident happened on Feb. 26 as the teen girl was taking a class in the living room of Michel's Miami home.
The girl later told her mother that Michel fondled her breast and touched her privates under her clothing, the report said. Michel denied the allegations to police, according to the report.
Michel appeared in court Friday where he was ordered held on $25,000 bond. Attorney information wasn't available.
