A 22-year-old Miami woman was killed and two passengers in her car were critically injured overnight when her Honda Accord was “T-boned” by an SUV on West Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach, authorities said.

Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue were sent to the 800 block of West Atlantic Boulevard at 12:35 a.m. after a 2007 Lexus SUV struck the driver’s side of the 2000 Honda Accord being driven by Mary Hart of Miami as she left the northbound off-ramp from I-95, the BSO said.

She was pronounced dead on the scene. Passengers Rudolf Georgeon, 24, of North Miami Beach and Lori Bardol, 35, of Coral Springs were taken to North Broward Medical Center with critical injuries, the BSO said.

The BSO said that the driver of the SUV, 37-year-old Jason Morgan of Pompano Beach, was charged with DUI manslaughter, driving with a suspended license, and two counts each of DUI with serious bodily injury and DUI causing property damage. He was being held at the Main Jail in downtown Fort Lauderdale Tuesday afternoon.

The BSO asks anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call Detective Carlos DeJesus at 954-321-4840 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS, or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
