Miami is on the top 10 list of the trashiest spring break destinations thanks to the thousands of young people who flock to the city every year to party.
According to coedmagazine.com, Miami ranked number seven, while Key West ranked number nine- both decreasing in rankings compared to last year.

The rankings were determined by various things, including the number of Hooters and tattoo parlors.
“It’s the people that live here that go out of their way to party,” said college junior Ashley Lara, who noted that the locals teach tourist where the best places to party are.
The magazine not only categorizes Miami Beach one of the trashiest cities thanks to the Jersey Shores crew visits, but also for the popular clubs such as Space, Nikki Beach, Mansion and Cameo.

“You can do what you want and go into clubs with fake ID’s,” said Lara, who has been to all of the clubs mentioned.
In Key West, one of the main attractions is a clothing optional bar, and according to the magazine, the open container laws that are not enforced during spring break, help the Keys in the rankings to become the trashiest.
For at least two consecutive years, Las Vegas has been the magazine’s number one Spring Break’s trashiest destination.
