A mother is facing charges after police say she shoplifted dozens of items from a Miami Sears while her two young children were with her.

Sarah Ellen Ceron-Garcia, 30, was arrested Monday on one count of grand theft and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child, according to a Miami Police report.

Ceron-Garcia appeared in court Tuesday where she was ordered held on $7,000 bond. She was appointed a public defender.

According to the police report, Ceron-Garcia's 4-year-old and 5-year-old children were with her when she was spotted shoplifting at the Sears at 3655 Southwest 22nd Street.

A loss prevention officer said he spotted her grabbing items and cutting security tags off as she went through the store, the report said. When she was stopped after leaving the store officers found 11 pairs of shoes, 9 perfume boxes, 8 wallets, 8 T-shirts, 7 pieces of jewelry, 4 shorts, 3 purses and a gym bag, the report said.

Ceron-Garcia was taken into custody and the father of her children came to the store and took custody of the kids, the report said.
