A teen was found Wednesday night after he had been declared missing after he left home Friday to go to Ultra Music Festival.

Miriam Lopez said her son, 15-year-old Christian Pereira, had left his Hollywood home March 28th and told her he was going to the electronic music dance festival.

Private investigator Fernando Alvarez said he believed the teen ran away from home. Alvarez said Pereira had called home, on a number that was not his own, since he went missing. He had not told his parents where he is or who he is with.

Alvarez said he believes the teen was still in the Miami area. He was working on the case with help from the Missing Children Global Network.

The investigator said he had reason to suspect Pereira may have been with an adult, perhaps an older woman, who could have been urging him not to go home.

Anyone with information is urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
