A Hialeah motorcycle officer was airlifted to the hospital after an accident on Interstate 95 in Miami-Dade Tuesday.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 near Northwest 125th Street.
Footage showed the officer laying on the highway near the motorcycle. He was placed on a stretcher and airlifted from the scene to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident had all northbound and southbound lanes of I-95 shut down. Most of the lanes opened back up a short time later.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
