A crash during rush hour on a busy South Florida roadway sent one person to the hospital and has created quite the traffic nightmare Wednesday morning.
Three vehicles were pinned by a gas truck in the express lanes southbound on I-95 at Northwest 125th Street just after 8:30 a.m. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said there were multiple injuries as a result, with one person being transported in critical condition to an area hospital.
As a result, traffic is backed up along the southbound lanes with drivers only being able to get by on the right shoulder. Several lanes remain closed past 11:30 a.m. with traffic continuing to be backed up.
