Pot-Filled Florida Man Steals Truck Full of Krispy Kremes

20-year-old Randall Travis Roberts got the munchies, man!

A Central Florida man has been charged with grand theft auto and possession of marijuana after being found in a stolen donut truck stocked with 338 boxes of Krispy Kremes.

To be fair, Krispy Kremes are delicious. But Randall Travis Roberts, 20, of Davenport, confessed to stealing the box truck from a WalMart parking lot in Haines City because he was "tired of walking" and "needed somewhere to sleep," according to the Ocala Star-Banner.

He didn't quite make the Land of Nod. In fact, Roberts only made it as far as Ocala before getting into a minor fender bender; when police arrived, he allegedly admitted the truck was stolen.

To officers, the situation shortly became clear: police said ten grams of marijuana were discovered in a plastic bag on the floor near the driver's seat.

Though Roberts allegedly claimed the pot wasn't his, he was booked for grand theft auto and possession of marijuana less than 20 grams.

Police don't know if he ate any of the donuts, the Star-Banner said.
