A massive multi-vehicle crash had one of South Florida’s busiest roadways practically stopped during the busiest travel day of the year.
Chopper 6 captured images of the scene on the Palmetto Expressway southbound just north of NW 103rd St. with as many as 13 vehicles involved. The crash took place shortly after 6 AM.
All lanes southbound were closed with motorists getting by on the right emergency lane. Cars were backed up to NW 47th Avenue before the scene was eventually cleared.
