As South Florida continues to rebuild following Hurricane Irma and her devastating impact on the area, the NBC 6 Café is making its return Friday and teaming with Simon Malls to help collect items to help those in need.
Join the morning team of Eric Harryman, Sheli Muniz, Adam Berg and Kelly Blanco this Friday at The Falls – located at SW 136th Street and U.S. 1 in Southwest Miami-Dade – starting at 9 a.m. as they will be collecting donations for those in need. Collections will be taken at the enterance near Chico's and Talbots.
Those who stop by can also get some yummy treats and a chance to meet the NBC 6 team.
Items that Simon Malls, in conjunction with the Red Cross, will be collecting include water, non-perishable food, blankets, pillows, portable phone chargers, paper plates and plastic ware.
Donations will also be accepted at Simon Malls’ other properties, including Dadeland Mall, International Mall, Coral Square Mall and Boca Town Center.
