New Year's Eve Celebrations in South Florida

Whether you're planning to ring in 2016 with or without the kiddos, South Florida offers plenty of fun things to do for New Year's Eve!

It's not too late to start planning, as dozens of events - both kid-friendly and more aimed toward the grownups - are planned throughout Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties.

(Of course, staying in the house and watching the ball drop from the comfort of your living room is fun too!)

Here are just a few options we've rounded up!

As a reminder, AAA is offering free "tipsy tow" service through its Tow to Go program. To help you get home safely from your New Year's Eve and New Year's Day festivities, the confidential and free service will tow you and your vehicle as long as the destination is within a 10-mile radius.

You do not need to be a AAA member, but the service is based on the availability of tow truck drivers so plan ahead as New Year's Eve is one of their busiest nights of the year.
