No Victims or Known Suspects in Shooting That Occurred Near Jennifer Lopez Video Filming: Fort Lauderdale Police

A large disturbance erupted north of the bathroom facilities in Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, police said

A suspect fired several rounds in the shooting that took place near the filming of a Jennifer Lopez music video, but there are no reported injuries, victims or known suspects, Fort Lauderdale Police said late Monday.

The shooting occurred Sunday at about 7:35 p.m. at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park at 1100 Seabreeze Boulevard, police said in a statement.

While several officers were working an off-duty detail for the filming of the music video at the southern end of the park, they overheard gunshots coming from the northern end of the parking lot, police said.

The preliminary investigation has determined that a large disturbance erupted north of the park’s bathroom facilities, and during it a suspect took out a firearm and fired several rounds in an unknown direction, police said.
