Oakland Park Man Arrested For Child Porn Possession: Deputies

The investigation linked the child porn sharing with the man's IP address

Authorities arrested an Oakland Park man they said shared child porn on the Internet from his home.

Eugene Thomas, 42, was arrested Monday and faces 20 counts of possessing child sex conduct, according to online jail records. He is being held on $1,000 per charge.

A search warrant carried out by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force recovered a hard drive belonging to Thomas with a “large collection” of videos depicting children being sexually abused by adults and engaging in acts with other children, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation linked the child porn sharing with the man's IP address, the BSO said.
